CHARLES VILLAGE
 The
Charles Village Community generally comprises the area inclusive
of 25th Street, Howard Street, University Parkway and Guilford
Avenue. See
map. The community includes residential property, apartment
buildings, and businesses.
The Charles Village Civic Association (CVCA) began in the
1960s. They strives to maintain the fabric of their community,
focusing on quality of life issues, including sanitation and
neighborhood revitalization.
Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of every
odd-numbered month, at 7:00 p.m., usually at SS. Philip &
James Church, 2801 N. Charles Street, and are open to the
public. Membership dues are $15 per year per household, and
$100 for lifetime membership. For more specific information,
