CVCBD Programs

  • Ambassador Program

Neighborhood Ambassadors will serve as a focal point for effective and safe communication between the CVCBD and residents throughout the district. Ambassadors will receive specialized training to aid in fostering inclusive community events, conversations and engagement among residents. Ambassadors must commit to a 1-year term of participation and must abide by community standards and reporting requirements.

  • Reggie Parker Community Impact Grant

The Reggie Parker Community Impact Grant presented by the Charles Village Community Benefits District (CVCBD) was created to support communities within the Benefits District footprint with funding for projects led by residents and businesses who wish to amplify the mission of the CVCBD in “Keeping Communities Safe and Clean”. The grant provides financial support for specific programs, projects, and events that seek to improve safety and justice initiatives and improve the quality of life for our community residents and businesses.

  • Community Tool Rental

CVCBD offers a tool rental program designed to support our neighbors in need.

    • Please note all rentals are not guaranteed. We pull from a shared resource and supply on a first come, first served basis.

    • Returns are required 1-2 weeks after checkout date, depending on the tool(s). More details will be specified in your checkout process.

    • Should a tool be lost or damaged, we may have to ask you to replace the tool. Please be mindful of the next neighbors needs.

  • Rat Abatement

We've seen an increase in rats throughout the neighborhood. This is a reminder to properly store trash in a trashcan with a tight-fitting lid. Do not place bags of trash next to cans. If you are unsure when your trash or recycling day is, you can view it here, or call 311.
