About Us

The Charles Village Community Benefits District - For close to 30 years, CVCBD has served as a conduit to building Community Power through neighborhood engagement, district advocacy, and enhanced safety and sanitation. We operate as a crucial neighborhood touchpoint. Through ongoing earned trust, and continued community activation, we build strong partnerships throughout the district and celebrate every member of the CVCBD as critical to our collective fabric— whether a homeowner or unhoused, a small business owner, student, or a volunteer, we serve over 800 small businesses and all 11,000 members of our community.

We are a neighborhood/community not just a zip code

Connected 140 individuals to resources like job training, behavioral health, housing & food resources

Engaged 200 unique vulnerable neighbors---building relationships, earning trust, weaving our “collective neighborhood fabric”
